Prepare your winter skin with a Ayruvedic Abhyanga Treatment that everyone can practice at home !

The origins of Abhyanga, also known as Ayurvedic massage, can be traced back over 5,000 years to ancient India. 

It is a traditional practice in Ayurveda, a holistic medical system that is based on the Sanskrit word ayur which means “science of life”

BEGIN BY POURING A WARM BATH-

Make sure to keep your Dry brush dry!

Move the dry brush over the skin in upwards movements towards the heart.

Use your favourite massage oil, & apply liberally all over your body.

Massage the oil into the skin, again with upward movements towards the heart.

 

Soak your body in the Hot bathing waters.

After your bathing soak ritual… apply body butter or whipped shea butter for added moisture.

Massage your face with facial serum & facial balm taking care to massage the skin gently around the eye area.

Its even better to apply your facial serum or creams to moist skin.
