Description
Incausa Chacrona Incense
A hand-wrapped presentation of the Breu Resin Blends.
Each stick burns up to 1 hour. Place it on an incense holder of fire-resistant surface.
Chacrona and jagube are the two fundamenta amazonian plants traditionally combined to brew ayahuasca, a sacred entheogenic beverage.
The term “chacrona” refers to Psychotria viridis (a leaf containing DMT), while “jagube” is the vine Banisteriopsis caapi (which contains MAO inhibitors)
Indigenous art represents to the artisans of the Amazon basin an opportunity to preserve an integral livelihood and an alternative to industries that threaten to undermine these communities. In addition, the work of these artisans represents a connection to their ancestry that spans millenniums, with the power to create dialogue between different cultures and break a cycle of prejudice and discrimination.
Incausa collaborates with artisans, villages and associations of eight different native ethnicities in the Amazon Basin. Acting as a non-profit patron, subsidizing logistics and production, developing sustainable retail and wholesale market-placement.
Through this pro-bono initiative, the wholesale price of each piece sold to shops is strictly the cost of the piece plus shipping.
