We are so inspired by the healing properties of herbs! So we have begun including fresh dug roots, leaves, plants, and medicinals from our garden in our recipe formulations !  Its been so exciting to notice the difference it has on the skin and to the lather and bubble of the soap.

Echinacea is well known as an immune booster and cleanser for the immunity  But have you thought about using it Topically?  Echinacea helps protect your healthy cells from invasion by bacteria & virus’s.  Echinacea will help to keep cuts, scrapes and scratches from getting infected & speeds wound healing process at the same time.  When used externally as a topical disinfectant Echinacea also has analgesic properties.

Burdock root is well known in Asia where the roots are common food called “Gobo”  We love to eat it here too on the  East Coast of Nova Scotia _  This is one of the best purifying root vegetable, its ideal for psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, cradle cap, scalp irritation, dandruff, itchiness.  This is a great detoxifying plant for spring cleansing while supporting the bodies health.

This is a great soap bar to keep in your First Aid kit.  Be sure to take this soap on your summer camping trips!
